Introduction

Welcome to the Photo-Motion Online API Documentation. This guide provides the essential concepts and instructions required to integrate with our REST API.

Use of Webhooks

The system is built around event-driven notifications that are delivered through webhooks. Whenever an action occurs in Photo-Motion, such as generating an advertisement, or creating a spinner, a corresponding notification is sent to the configured webhook endpoint.

Webhook usage is the expected integration method. It ensures that updates are processed only when relevant events occur and prevents unnecessary API calls. This approach is also aligned with the Fair Use Policy that governs access to the API.

If Webhooks Cannot Be Used

In environments where webhook integration is not possible, partners are expected to avoid polling the entire API or repeatedly requesting all products. Instead, the integration should maintain and track the last updated product and request only the items that have changed since the last update. This helps reduce load and ensures adherence to the Fair Use Policy.

Sample Products

In the Sandbox environment, we have created some sample products for you to test with. With these products, you can simulate the process as if a vehicle is in our studio so that real uploads do not need to take place. Simulating the upload process can be done by copy the product to create a new one.

You can request a desired image size by adding a suffix after the URL.
Without suffix, the original full resolution image will be loaded.
